Move in and rent your home

Move into your new apartment and enjoy living there for up to 12 months, paying $700 per week in rent. This will include rates and body corporate, but you will need to arrange your own insurance. If you decide Olympus isn't the right fit for you, you can withdraw at any time during the rental period, with no obligation to purchase, and your full 5% deposit will be returned.

Receive 50% of your rent back

If you decide to purchase your home, 50% of the rent you've paid will be credited towards your deposit at settlement.

Settle when you're ready

Go unconditional and settle on your home after 12 months - or sooner if you decide you're ready.

Terms and Conditions

Disclaimer: This is a summary of the key terms only. The promotion is entirely subject to the terms and conditions of the Agreement for Sale and Purchase of the relevant unit, and the accompanying Licence to Occupy.

Overview of the Arrangement
  1. This promotion requires you (“the Purchaser”) to enter into an Agreement for Sale and Purchase (“the Agreement”) and Licence to Occupy (“the Licence”) for a unit in the Olympus Apartments (“Unit”).
  2. Entry into the Agreement and the Licence allows the Purchaser to live in the Unit for up to 12 months (“Trial Period”) to decide whether they wish to complete the purchase of the Unit.

Condition of Sale
  1. The Agreement is conditional upon the Purchaser being satisfied that the Property is suitable for their living/residential needs and preferences on or before the expiry of the Trial Period.

Fees and Payments
  1. A Licence Fee of $700.00 per week is payable by the Purchaser during the Trial Period, which includes outgoings such rates and Body Corporate levies.
  2. If the Purchaser decides to proceed with the purchase of the Unit, half of the total Licence Fees paid by the Purchaser will be applied to the Purchase Price at settlement.
  3. A Deposit of $10,000.00 is due within 5 working days of the date of the Agreement. The Deposit will:
    1. Be held in the Vendor’s solicitor’s Trust Account, on Interest Bearing Deposit, until settlement is completed or the Agreement and Licence are terminated; and
    2. Be applied in part payment of the Purchase Price under the Agreement, where settlement is completed; or
    3. Will be applied to meeting the costs of any damage to the Unit or the Olympus Apartments, in the event the Agreement is cancelled prior to settlement.

Purchaser Obligations
  1. The Purchaser is responsible and liable for any damage to the Unit or any other part of the Olympus Apartments caused by the Purchaser or the Purchaser’s guests.
  2. The Purchaser is required to have insurance for their chattels, personal effects, and other contents within the Unit. This insurance is at the Purchaser’s own cost.
  3. The Purchaser must comply with all Operational Rules, bylaws, directions, and notices of the Body Corporate.

General Terms
  1. A breach of the Agreement constitutes a breach of the Licence, and vice versa.
  2. The Licence may not be assigned or sublicensed.
